Sangkream Than Tang3

Sangkream Than Tang3

Some weeks ago, everyone was shocked after watching the supposed ending of the 59th episode. Some were sad but amazed by it, and others were also sad but disappointed with it. Then the sudden news about two specials came out, and everyone was full of hope one more time.
The 59th episode ending, it’s a good ending by itself. More like a sad ending, it’s an open ending hinting at a happy ever after with the mixing of Ying Yuan’s and Yan Dan’s primordial spirits in the incense burner. This happy ending is later given to us with the specials.
I usually see viewers end up being disappointed with special episodes, because they’re so short, do not follow the timeline of the final episode directly, and more reasons. However, I’d like to remind everyone that is the reason why these are specials and not actual episodes.
Though many things are left unexplained in these 2 special episodes, I consider that all the elements shown by the end of the 59th episode and a general understanding of how resurrection and healing work in the Immortal Samsara universe, viewers can find the explanation by themselves. Anyway, if you find trouble coming up with a logical explanation, I created a discussion with an analysis of the ending for viewers to check out: https://mydramalist.com/discussions/immortal-samsara-special/81271-summary-and-explanation-of-immortal-samsara-ending
These two specials succeed in their purpose of giving more closure to the viewers. They were cheerful and had many of all the elements one needs after so much suffering plus they also had some really nice surprises.
In conclusion, if you watched Immortal Samsara and liked it, you’ll probably have a happy and comforting time with the specials. Also, I recommend watching them with a gap of time with the final episode because the emotional change between the two may feel abrupt.
